Do I need to know how to code?

Why do I need my own OpenAI API key?
Because it's the cheapest way to run an AI assistant. Chatbot companies buy the same API and resell it to you with a markup and message limits. With your own key you pay OpenAI directly — GPT‑4o mini costs a fraction of a cent per message. You also keep full ownership of your data and usage.
How much will the API cost me?

Will it make things up about my products or orders?
